Annual Giving Campaigns

You can make a donation to the Annual Giving Campaign to support Girl Scouting for the 40,000 girl members of Girl Scouts Western Pennsylvania. Your contribution to Girl Scouts will help provide important resources needed for programs, events and once in a lifetime opportunities for girls. Each gift is tax-deductible and supports local Girl Scouts. Each year, our council conducts two annual giving campaigns, one in December and one in May.

Bidding for Good

Visit Girl Scouts Western Pennsylvania’s Auction page Sept. 1-Sept. 30 at www.biddingforgood.com/gswpa for a FUN way to support Girl Scout programming in 27 western Pennsylvania counties and to win exciting items.

Our online auction features a wide variety of one-of-a-kind items and something for everyone, including sports packages, unique gifts, and get-a-ways! Troop packages are also available! Take a minute to view our auction catalog, containing items that will appeal to every taste and cross every price range. Registration is free and secure.

So start your bidding! Bidding will take place through the entire month of September, Tell your friends, family and community, and remember to visit our bidding page often, as new items are added daily!

Family Partnership Campaign

Our Family Partnership Campaign is a way for families to show their support to Girl Scouting. Families can make a tax-deductible donation on their daughter’s membership form, along with the annual registration. On the bottom, they can add on their special gift for the Family Partnership Campaign! Donation may be included and paid with the registration fee.

Educational Improvement Tax Credit Program (EITC)

The Discovery Girls literacy program allows companies contributing to Girl Scouts Western Pennsylvania to turn tax dollars into donations. This program is approved for education improvement which entitles companies to make a donation and receive tax credits under Pennsylvania’s Department of Community and Economic Development (DCED)’s Educational Improvement Tax Credit Program (EITC).
